It's been a while... but inspiration struck to finish up my remaining EPIC armies. Pictures of the completed Tyranid army are up on my site: https://wargamingworkshop.com/games-armies/epic-armageddon/tyranids/ https://wargamingworkshop.files.wordpress.com/2020/11/epic-tyranids-small.jpg I still have... |

Greetings. It's been a while, thanks in part to work and in part to delays introduced by that cursed 40k Blood Angel project that I have been working on... (an a Warmaster Wood Elf army completed in between on the Specialist Games site here: http://www.forum.specialist-arms.com/index.php?topic=5971.... |

I finished a few of the golden lords of the Blood Angels: Tycho, The Sanguinor, and Dante. All stock models. http://wargamingworkshop.files.wordpress.com/2013/10/40k-ba-tycho.jpg http://wargamingworkshop.files.wordpress.com/2013/10/40k-ba-sanguinor.jpg http://wargamingworkshop.files.wordpress.com/20... |

Wow, it’s been a long time. A full year since my last post. I blame the Blood Angel project. In the fall of 2012 I had this crazy idea that I would do another 40k army. I built quite a few of those in the earlier part of the last decade, even won a number of Grand Tournaments. Eventually I shifted i... |

Fascinating thread. I stumble back here to catch up on 15 pages of "new posts" to find this gem. Awesome. I build tech companies for a living. After a few tech startups of my own, I now run a company that very hands-on builds new companies around inventions by functioning as a unique mix o... |

And here are the Revenants! http://wargamingworkshop.wordpress.com/2012/10/08/eldar-revenant-titans-and-end-of-toeg/ This concludes the Eldar ToEG: 241 Models, 12500 points - all from assembly to finished from March 2012 to October 2012 (with a summer break in between). The full army can be seen her... |

I finished the Avatar and big titans. Unfortunately, I can't post my images here (They are above 640 so the posting system complains - one more barrier to continuing my very pleasant time on TacComs... :{[] ). You can find the images here: http://wargamingworkshop.wordpress.com/2012/10/06/eldar-avat... |

Just a few thoughts here from somebody who is at once deeply saddened by the lost to the hobby community but at the same time deeply (professionally) understands intellectual property. As unfortunate as I find the outcome, I don't think CS has a choice but to do exactly what he is doing - even to th... |

I understand, but I bought this army before the IP ban so it happens to include a pile of "alternative" models from various forum members :). I could of course throw all that into the garbage, buy a new army from exiting manufacturers and then paint that, but that's not high on my bucket l... |

Thanks for the reply. The recent ban on display of custom models unfortunately solved the problem. The bulk of this collection is non-GW so I can't do a ToEG on it (or at least ot display it which kind of ruins the whole ToEG motivation part). I have no more "pure GW" armies left to paint ... |

With my Eldar ToEG almost at an end, I am eyeing my Skitarii/ATML collection as the next army to paint. The problem is that the army list seems to be in flux so I don't know exactly how to configure the units. Here is what I have (with questions): Skitarii Demi-Centuries (is this a fairly stable bas... |

July wasn't the greatest month for ToEG: 1 Autarch 8 Warp Spiders 8 Shining Spears Just 600 meager points. That only left the big guys: 2 big Titans, 2 Revenant Titans and the Avatar. The latter killed all my momentum for the month. I had originally sculpted the model to be rising out of a lava fiss... |
