IMO, if they're a ridiculously expensive 0-1 choice melee unit without any unique abilities, there's no point to having them. Leaving aside the bit where they scream for abstraction in any case.

Reviewing the old threads, it was in the context of "if the BA fail their activation roll, they Engage". I believe the suggestion was that they should have to try and engage the enemy, rather than being able to move wherever they liked (since they could just Engage in the opposite directio...

Isn't one of the current major criticisms of the AMTL that they're too hard to kill? Upgunning them would seem to make that worse, not better...

0.2 is up. I revised a few point costs, clarified some wording, and FAQed Disrupt on CC weapons.

I think being trapped in the past is making all the NetEpic players oversensitive. Clearly the best thing is to shut down the NetEpic part of the board and force them to rejoin reality. ;)

One day, someone will explain to GW that the autocannon is a shit anti-tank weapon. :P

EDIT: Also, rending should bump it up to at least AT4. Possibly more. I'll need to check how Rending works these days.
