Nice thread! Alas, my cultist Nurgle army is one that has never left the dreamlands. It is this type of inspirational stuff that might just get me going. Or I might be a bit optimistic, but great stuff none the less. Btw. Tilioch, do we know each other IRL? BorCon way back etc etc? Thanks, nice to ...

I'm going to do some serious threadomancy here and do a small kind of update thingy. I did have quite some falling out with epic and my Death Guard army here since my last post (over 2 years ago! Man... time flies...) I have however moved to another part of the country in the last half year, and her...

A few nights ago I tried the new list out in a 2k game against IG and I must say, this configuration does not impress me… The main concern I have is that the core formation is too expensive. I only got 4 activations out of my army, 2 retinues, 1 heavy and 1 terminator formation and a few daemo...

Quote: (alakazam @ 15 Aug. 2009, 18:00 ) I am not so sure that 'forgetting' a rule is reason enough to remove it from the game, especially as, in this case, if you forget to use Nurgles Rot it only benefits your opponent. As to it having only a small effect? Well, yes, it does only have a small...

Nice to see some new action in here. I've plaed two times with autocannons on DeathGuard marines, one attack on the regulars and two on the havocs, and it does make them far more usable than the plasmagun attack from before. I do however have a few things to ask about this new list; Transport option...

Quote: (I*am*Salvation @ 12 Jun. 2009, 11:23 ) Fire Dragons Rock against DG! They got only 5+ SV but DG has no save at all, i think thats a good deal ;) Why did the Fire Prisms fire at the Retinue? They only got AT2 and no AP Value? The Decimator would have been a much better Target for those A...

Quote: (stompzilla @ 12 Jun. 2009, 07:11 ) If i'd been the Eldar player, and had won the I turn 2, i'd have moved the first lot of aspects into a supporting fire position,(The ones who actually launched the initial assault) and then engaged with the warp spiders. 10x first strike 4+ FF shots an...

Quote: (clausewitz @ 11 Jun. 2009, 23:55 ) Nice report Tilloch.  And some nice pics of the battle and your cool figs. Could probably do with more/bigger terrain for your table, looked as though the Eldar were lacking for good places to hide   P.S. Happy Birthday! Thanks =) Yeah, we always...

Turn 3 Init Eldar The Fire prisms will not stand having Plague marines in their sights and begins the turn by sustaining on the heavy retinue, however someone must have forgotten to polish the crystals as not a single marine falls to the barrage. But at least a blast marker is placed. Next the bikes...

It’s been far too long since I posted a report, and this is one that happened about four weeks ago, and finally I’ve manage to compile all the pictures and written the last few lines.   The forces of the nice and cuddly Nurgel have sighted a new enemy that tries to take their downed...

I can understand the thing about not having an armored company, but I do like the feel about it, you still need to have a lot of infantry to be able to field one, and that is some expensive formations you need as well. And I do like to have some tanks in an epic game. But on the terminators I think ...

Quote: (The_Real_Chris @ 01 Jun. 2009, 12:50 ) Note if you destroy the attackers or defenders in the attack the assault ends with no supporting fire taking place, but bm's still given to formations in support range from the losing side. Yeah, we did it a bit wrong there, we always seem to forge...
