I go to the plumbing aisle of my favorite hardware store for some PVC, copper fittings, and hanger iron strips. Then check out aisle 7 for electrical bitz. I may be off-base, home-brew terrain, buildings, and game surfaces can be fun too.

Sorta like to buy figs and books and stuff myself. I try to keep some scrounged materials (by the tub and shelf full) just in case I get the itch to scratch-build terrain.
