Hey there, just got my 3rd edition copy yesterday and was a bit irritated when checking the rulebook. it says that terminators can't move sideways (like in 1st edition), but can move diagonally forward (1 action point) and backward (2 action points). I think it that was impossible by 1st edition rul...

Ork Army Book page 9-10 madboyz If you roll a 4 on the madboy table, the effect is that the boyz play dead, and can't be attacked by the enemy. Problem: a new roll on the chart is only required if they suffer any more losses. As they can't be attacked, that will never occur. page 14+43 pulsa rokkits...

Quote: (zap123 @ 19 Nov. 2008, 01:47 ) Is that the same wording they used for the Madboys in SM2?  I guess they can still get hit with a stray barrage, and if they were holding an objective a 4 result is pretty cool   Pulsa Rokkits are just one of the Ork "gambler" weapons.  Some...

Hi, i hope here is the right place to post such things, so here I go: We noticed two unclear descriptions in the ork army book during our last battle. 1. If you roll a 4 on the madboy table, the effect is that the boyz play dead, and can't be attacked by the enemy. Problem: a new roll on the chart i...

Got it. Still wondering where the Rundtherd actually has to be on the table to influence them. Near the Shokk Attack Guns i assume? Being near the enemy when they materialize might become a bit tricky ;)

Yeah, buying a Runtherd is possible of course. But first of all it's a special card, so you're tactically quite limited in your artillery placement (if you use the Runtherd as only command unit for artillery). Furthermore, he only acts for some artillery pieces as Nob: Quote:  Runtherd: ... 2) ...

for my part, your report is close to the best there is. it's a bit chaotic because of the army size, but that's normal.

nice scenery by the way. right now we're playing on a blank board with some self-made hills and the buildings from sm2 ;).

While doing my Armylists, I always encounter the same problem: How can I avoid the Nob Command rule when fielding artillery like Pulsa Rokkits or Shokk Attack Guns, as Runtherds can't act as Nob subsitution for them as for Squig Catapults, Hop Splats etc. The only two solutions I found are: 1. Buy a...

hey there, I am one of sanjuros buddies ;) Damn, Warhead: "f your looking to play your games in about three to four hours then 5,000 to 6,000 points is about right."   It took us nine hours the other night to go through three rounds of 2000 pts. *cough* Anyway, good to hear that it's actually p...
