The new Space Marine Codex from GW has a map of the galaxy near the back.  For the first time I know of, the map spells out chapter locations for a lot of the main (from GW's point of view) chapters.  There is also a lot of 'fluff' about the Crimson Fist's near elimination, and rebuilding ...

I had to be away for a few days, but thanks for the reply.  Going to download and dig into right away.  I will drop a word (or a hundred) soon as I get into the meat of it.
Thanks(squared), G.F.

For our gaming out here, we are all at a handicap.  The ONLY battleship ever available was 'Gorbag's Revenge' at any hobby store within 200 miles.  Because of this fact, only rarely has someone attempted to use one as a different persona.  For myself, I have four of them now.  I ...

Nice work, and I,m glad you said something about the lances.  When you were advised to cut them off, because they're antennas, I had a sudden attack of ignorance.  I was sure I even saw a GW illustration with those "antennas" firing off a broadside.       I just finished pai...

wow! Was I wrong!  I guessed a max of two hours.  So much for guessing.  Are you fellows going to have a rematch?  With similar forces I mean.  Could also prove interesting.  Maybe give the AdMec a shot at revenge?
Either way, something new, or retried, will be fun.

Anyway, thanks for the info, and answers.  I hope there will be some photos, and graphics back up soon.
Later,

How long did the game take?  Sounded kinda short.  Violent, brutal and bloody is just fine, but I got the impression there was not much 'intervening terrain' to block lines of fire, and so draw out the game.  A wide open space isn't supposed to be popular with Orks, normally.  Ju...

You'll have a good sized selection to choose from, for sure.  Do you think you might 'double-up' on any class(s) in the future? Variations in the paint job (little ones) can actually draw attention to the details. Plus, in playing the game, I sometimes like having extra hitting power in one are...

I have a very large Ork fleet already.  I am also guilty of influencing others to get into Orks.  Not everyone likes the 'face' or 'fish head' look, and used filler putty to get a different look for their ships.  I think that your design is cool.  But honestly, I think they could...

Well T.R.Chris,     I presume "the whole hog" is not serious. And I wondered if "Fuzzy-Wuzzy-Principle" might have a different spin across the pond.  In USA, 'fuzzy wuzzy...' is cute phrase a female would start in on when confronted by a new puppy or kitten, usually in a high pitched ...

Will this be all in your IN?  Or are you going to add a vessel now and again? Perhaps some dedicated supply vessel?
Looks good ......... I have to say I like your choice of colors.....and the photography!

I like the way you have planned out your project.  I believe it is fair to say most of us have a plan in our head, not on paper, when we build something new.  I will have to work out a plan for my next project (Another battlestation), with a schematic.  The friend I'm building it for ...

You know, The Real Chris, you raise some interesting questions.       I have had escort squadrons chewed up, or just gone, because I stuck them out to far and a capitol ship had no other target. Ouch! I try to use escorts to protect the larger ships from the smaller ones - especially ...

I would be very interested in a WW1 variant/expansion.  I have a collection of models from both periods in both 1/285th and 1/86th. Does the game concentrate on Eastern Front WW2, or will dive bombers and torpedo bombers be able to operate over the Med and Pacific?  Escorting mission aircr...

Hi there, The Real Chris-     I have been studying history as a vocation and a passion for about 45 years.  Most of it Military History.  Including Naval history from Salamis to Okinawa (actually earlier, but Salamis was first to jump into my head.)     Are you trying t...
