The Gatling Cannon can't be one of the weapons - it came with the Mk 2 Warlord (you can see it on the right arm of L4's version). I'd assume that is either a Turbo Laser Destructor or a Laser Blaster. Probably the latter, which with the original plastic warlord weapons had a pretty similar appearanc... |

GW already seemed to be moving away from the 'Feudal World' aspect of the Knights by the time of Titan Legions - the background here regarding Knightworlds actually avoided calling them Feudal, describing them as worlds that provided resources for Forgeworlds, both from agriculture (including the di... |

Effectively what you are doing is giving a cheap Inspiring to every formation. Not entirely - seeing as there's only one upgrade per formation, you have to choose between mixing knight types or taking the Senechal. And on larger formations, the resultant jump in Knight costs means the Senechal effe... |

+1 for the invulnerable save option. Knight Shields have always worked distinctly differently from voids in the background, so using the void/power field rules to represent them doesn't sit right with me. An invulnerable save seems far more true to the background, and avoids issues with bookkeeping ... |

I think option 1 is probably the best. Not in favour of changing to a 4-Knight formation base - knights have been in 'basic' formations of 3 at least since Titan Legions and the release of the plastic Paladins, and making the base formation as 4 would almost certainly impact on people's collections/... |

Then why not just do a Pre-Heresy list? A pre-heresy style list, with larger formations, could well be the best place to make marine ground-pounders more appealing - its both thematically fairly appropriate (marines weren't forced into 'special forces' type actions in 30K because their armies were s... |

I think Stormbirds are more suited to a pre-heresy Marine list personally. And surely giving this list a tough Lander/Air Assault option is going counter to the 'ground-pounding marines' feel that the list is supposed to have. |

the Mechanicus can create their own stuff - and do. But in order it to be approved, it has to prove that it is based on an STC design, even if the STC element only consists of fragments of old recovered designs. Tech Priests seek hidden or forgotten traces of past machines. Those that are found are... |
