Excellent start. And it looks as though there is already plenty of interest, myself included.

Thanks all! I was worried about the size at first, but doing an up close comparison with the MkI reaver body I think it will end up being a bit shorter than the design that has inspired this build. What throws it off is the fact that there is only an upper body panel for the MkII and an upper and lo...

Wow, did not realize it has been almost a year since I worked on this project. Anyways, with the new DE kits out I decided it was time to start on the pair of Vessel of Pains that are in my initial list. Using the new reaver jetbikes as a source I present my Vessel of Pain MkII. http://img201.images...

Greetings all from the Dark City. OK, what I have here is a proof of concept design to replace the ravagers in my list. The model is on the ugly side, but that is OK. It is intended to resemble a Knight in size, yet function as a ravager. My intent is to create this in 3D to have printed. This is a ...

Ok, so I have been looking to put together a 3k point Dark Eldar list for a while. The following is what I am looking to start from but would love to hear from the community to see how this list is good/bad/ugly and recommendations on how to make it better. Kabal Cortie -Archon -Barge of Pleasure Ka...

Thank you. They are actually flamers from the defiler kit I am using for a knight for 40K. The backpack is just a standard incubi backpack, I used the Drazahar backpack on one of my 40K incubi.

Quick little update. I finally found bits that I like for the jump jets on the back of the tormentor.

C&C welcomed as always.

Thank you. As for the angle of the leg, it is inspired by the artwork on the cover of Raiders so think of it as having just kicked something to the side. As for the size vs DC, I too feel that while it might be considered tall it is thin, especially in the legs.

Ok, a quick little update. Beside some needed GS'ing I just need to figure out what I will use for the jump jets on the back. I am using the back piece from a 40K Incubi as the upper part but need to find some thing for the lower parts. http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/5467/tormentorwithnewarm1.jpg ...

The core is the bottom of the piece that holds the dark lance on a 40K DE Raider. The balls are in fact push pins.I found some that are just the right size for this project.

Thanks Zombocom. That is why I decided to redo the legs. The new legs will be shorter overall and hopefully give the Tormentor the proper size.

Then I started to think of a new design for the legs to allow for more articulation:

One with the start of the upper torso:

And last but not least a size comparison with an Eldar Revenant:

As always C&C welcomed!
