Neal: the OM list had Stormtroopers as a "core" Inquisitorial formation, but I think you're right on the other stuff. I will aim for a simplified list structure. Zombocom: I'm happy to look at consolidated stats. Shoot me an email whenever you are happy with your Ecclesiarchy stats. Fredma...

Now that the Grey Knights is approaching in 40K, I'm looking to get back involved with the ITF lists, particularly the Ordo Malleus lists. I know that fattdex has been brewing his own list based on the new book and I've been in contact with him. This isn't really a thread about spitballing changes t...

Sure Frogbear, I got you. As long as lists are being actually playtested and not just spitballed endlessly - that's also frustrating. Fattdex - sure. Give me time to assess the new codex first and I'll get my own thoughts in order, then we can look at where we are. Please note I'm not out to try to ...

Hi Frogbear, sorry I know it's frustrating, although it's starting to feel like "what you're back again !?" every time I post here. ;) I'm going to try and not make too much noise. I just posted because the Grey Knights codex is so close to release. As for other lists - whatever works for ...

I'm hoping to get a good look at the Codex tomorrow, a friend of mine has an early copy somehow. But since large-scale operations information is often hidden away in the nitty-gritty of the background fluff, I'm too am still resisting the temptation to Epicify until I have a copy myself.

Here's a pic of my guncutter model. It was quickly painted for one of Moscovian's tournaments but you get the idea... meant to look like the offspring of a blackbird and a thunderhawk.

madd0ct0r: great to see the lists, thanks for posting. I'd love to see how these do on the table. Interesting to note that you are counting a warhound as a traction chapel. Is there not an option in the list that gives you the ability to field such a unit? Why do you feel it is necessary? As for the...

Maddoctor: Why do you feel that the change would benefit the list? The re-rolls require tracking (which people are against) and conflict with the support staff mechanic. As for the support staff, yes, they can be used to give the Inquisitor a re-roll on the save and can make the Inquisitor very hard...

Those are some sweet casts there man... so what exactly happened to your old DE? "Evil person coming and slicing models to pieces" is a pretty unusual reason for an army being destroyed...

Right... I just don't have any ability, resources or time to playtest the Sisters at all right now. If anyone wants to give me playtest feedback, then I can develop it alongside zombo's list but right now I'm happy to see what comes of that list. If there's a desire for an updated OH list let me kno...

Just so everyone doesn't assume I've gone AWOL again, I'm currently looking at updating the lists, but rather than doing all three simultaneously, I'm going to work on them one at a time. I've got my hands on a copy of the Deathwatch RPG, so I'm going to digest that before I redo the Ordo Xenos list...

Hey madmagician, I totally get where you're coming from, the idea of formations zipping from one side of the board to the other in a single turn really took some getting used to compared with many other wargames. The weapon ranges seem so short compared with the effective movement. I had very much t...
