(blackhorizon @ Jan. 09 2008,18:49)QUOTEGood conversions and I agree with Warmaster Nice's his advice. Now it looks as added on bits, a more gradient flowing look would serve the purpose better. Spotted that as well, the paintjob wasn't dry yet and I was fiddling again, I'll take a new shot tomorro... |

(Xavi @ Dec. 25 2007,20:28)QUOTECool idea Any options of seeing conversions soon? Xavi Well actually I've just ordered some tyranid infantry sprues from ebay and plan on getting a few chaos and imperial cruisers soon, so yes. Depending on delivery times and my schedule I should have something by th... |

Here's a _very_ preliminary background for the Technids (anyone can think of a better name btw, or keep this one?) and a suggestion for a weapon type. I have another question for the Tyranidologists here Are there still purestrain tyranids produced every fourth human-genestealer-hybrid generation as... |

(ragnarok @ Dec. 22 2007,15:26)QUOTEThey wouldn't interface with any of the ship systems (engines, weapons etc). Rather they would rend them down for material ('nids do use metals in their constructs) and repace them with their own organic versions. The problem with this interpretation is tha... |

Go for it Well, thats what I'm trying to achieve, to integrate it more into the official fluff. Where would you say are the most jarring differences which woul... |

Well, with input from both the SG boards and this one we now have a possible 3 ways for a ship to become a Technid vessel: - The ship was succesfully boarded by Genestealers who then infected the remaining crew and over time evolved ways to fill in the damaged parts and interface with the undamaged ... |

A bit of a crosspost with the SG forum, but I'm anxious for some more opinions ----- I'd like some opinions on the following idea: what if like the hermit crab, a species of tyranid started to 'wear' derelict space ship parts and evolved to interface with them. This would create a kind of cyborgs. W... |

Rogue Trader Playtest 2 (750pts, no scenario, 4 turns) Sides: Rogue Traders (Galleon, 3x Lorcha, 4x Brigantine) vs. Imperial (2x Lunar, Mars, 3x Cobra) (Trader moves first) The first turn the Rogue Trader fleet moves forward with the Galleon on AAF and the rest making normal movement. Here's the first playtest, the second will follow. Yannic will post the detailed fleet lists soon. I've tried not to put in too many subjective stuff, just sticking to the facts. Discussion will follow I suppose ------ Rogue Trader Playtest 1 (750pts, no scenario, 4 turns) Sides: Rogue Traders (Gall... |
