| Hello all! Recently took a break from my Eldar after getting some epic nids from a friend of mine. Had first game with them against Black Legion last week - first impressions definitely seem good, but Im worried the +2 to rally bonus might be excessive, certainly saved my hide over the course of tha... |

Good report! That was going to be a tough game with that many aircraft to face down, but did well none the less |

| The Rampage Dark Eldar Gunship and stats Essentially a pulse Dark lance, and twin linked Splinter cannons. Still fast, still open topped, but slightly better armour than a Ravager and had an energy field - which i was a 4+ invulnerable save. Epic wise maybe - speed 30cm Armour 4+ FF 3+ CC 6+, 3x AT5... |

| I'm not sure its ravagers that need tweaking. I'd be more tempted to give every other warrior stand a 30cm AT5+ lance, instead of every stand having 15cm AP5+ that they have currently. Of the three options, I'm tempted to go for 3xAT5+ (certainly as most ravagers ive seen in 40k are armed entirely o... |

My opponent kept mentioning that discount as well, I must admit it doesnt sound a lot on the face of it, but as both you and he have said, it adds up quickly.
Next time I'll try and make better use of crossfire, hopefully that'll help swing things back in the DE's favour |

| Certainly, in retrospect, setting up crossfires would have helped ENORMOUSLY, and i even had perfect units for the job in the form of Reaver jetbikes (120cm skimmer march and then support assaults? Yes please) so its my own fault really in many respects. I can blame the dice for shoddy activation ro... |

| Finally managed to arrange a rematch between my Dark Eldar and the dread Minervan tank legion. This time at 4000pts. I also wanted to try out a few ideas and formations that I hadn't used much before (or much) - among them; Mandrakes Full size Ravagar Flotillas Teleporting on the first turn and Asdr... |

| Had a rematch game against Minervans last night (will get a battle report and pics up sometime over next couple of days) I had a basically fairly balanced force for the DE (though I did splash out on one formation as a tester and to try out a special character model I had made) My opponent took no i... |
