Newbie to modeling? no. Newbie to Epic? Well a renewb
I played epic when it was Space Marine before T.L. I had a beutiful and powerfull Eldar army. Then I left home (13yrs ago) and forgot all about it. Just the last few months I've become intersted in it again. |

You know? As I was painting on these, the paint scheme reminds me of the toys called "Mega Force" they were epic scale tanks and war engines...but.. toys. I guess mid to late 80's when they came out. They were fun to collect (and play with) before my indoctrine to the 40K universe.  |

Cool beans. I hope that the vehicles rules will be better than what in 4th. I can cause a crew stunned or shaken by spitting @ a tank in 4th, or immobilize it by throwing pebles @ it.
IMHO 4th ed vehicle rules sucked and took out the fun of fielding tanks. More points sink than an army asset.

Just got in my Ebay win of 8 "whirllies" 5 hunters(metal) and 200 marines+bases for 36 bucks. I will be posting on this thread my progress of me army.

| The heavy weapons I'm making only have 1 missle launcher (short supply) my tacs will have no launcher. My heavy weapons will have the long style bases as my assault troops also. But my tacts will be on the 'ol school bases. |

Thanks guys...Looks like the E:A rules are more what I'm looking for.
I used to play Epic (Space Marine) back before Titan Legions. Epic and Man O War.
I had a significant Eldar force...anyways that was then...15yrs ago.
I'm back and a pure loyalist. |
