@bertnernie: Correct, the finished terrain models are all unique & come painted, I describe it as a basic paint job on my homepage, one could go into a lot more detail on them. |

avada_bg_1950x903px_2.jpg Hello all; I had been running a blog called epicscapes (.wordpress.com) in 2007 (it should still be online I think) to showcase some terrain I built then. Since taking up the hobby again these last years I've been getting into modelling, resin-casting & generally putti... |

Great plan, I'm very keen on seeing the results! I have a similar project cooking: I made stalk tanks for my Blood Pact force (more on that later in a sep. thread...) from various bits. Nice thing about Chaos: Allows for a lot of freedom when scratchbuilding... DSC_0188.jpg DSC_0189.jpg BTW Thanks f... |

@nitpick: Thanks! Yes, all homemade. The one in the middle was my entry for Epicomp , the rest is stuff I made out of styrodur, mostly by help of a bandsaw. The stacked ones are my attempt at modular hive buildings, see more imgs here , others are runs of single models some of which you can see here... |

Nice - "scenics" it is. Besides, "eye-candy" very much depends on the paint job in the end...

Hello all; I made/moulded/cast a load of little wall pieces that can be combined in multiple ways. (Seven different models). DSC_0175.jpg They're a plaster-like material, quite light but surprisingly sturdy (I dropped quite a few from waist height & they're undamaged). They definitely need a bas... |

Faced with the same problem I came up with this alternative. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea aesthetically but these have the advantage to place models "under the canopy". I scavenged the foil from my jobs with a lighting firm, they regularly throw out those that are burnt in the middle - ... |

Hey; a question, excuse if I missed this above: Is the number of entries in a category limited/may I make more than one entry in a category?
Cheers for clarifying! |

It's been a while; Space Marine is kind of winter sports for me, so I'm finally finding time back at the worktable.
