I'm eagerly awaiting the FW Thunderhawk. I'm not a great fan of the FW flyers on the whole (size problems) although I saw 'live' FW Ork Bommerz for the first time at the weekend and they were great. But, I think overall the SG Thunderhawk is just too small when it's landed. (As someone mention... |

This was my 3rd Club Challenge, but my first trip to GW's HQ - Warhammer World for what was a the best Tournie I've been to. The food was great and I really felt I got the ?35 pounds worth from the event. It was also great meeting up with the usual suspects. Tiny Tim, The Real Chris, Mott, Mephiston... |

Yeah, top weekend. I got to play Eldar 3 times, Orks and the bladder loosening Feral Orks I'm actually writing up a bit of a report, but i'll just say the first days performance was better than the second days and it was nice to face some challenging and very different armies. Finally ... |

I've still got my Thunderbolts to do. Think I'm just going to go the lazy route and paint them black with a metal drybrush. Perhaps a touch on my Land Speeders and Thunderhawk after that. I'm determined not to be painting at 2.30am on the friday, as i've done the previous 2 years especi... |

Just been re-reading the Feral list and comparing it with your list Tim. think my expression was this; Those ferals are sick Not sure how my army would cope with those greenies - 50cm charging boar boys, squig catapults, orkeosaurus and those infernal Steam Gargants are of particular c... |

Ok, then. Here goes my slightly less warhound dominated list; Terminators Devastators Assaults Assaults Landing Craft Devastators + Hunter Land Speeders Thunderhawk Warhound Warhound Warhound Thunderbolts With a smattering of characters, but certainly no 'stuff' Gotta finish my Thunderbolts, ... |

Was a great day, even if I got slightly lost getting there. (I blame multimap) 3 Interesting and diverse games against 3 nice chaps. What better way to spend a Saturday. It was also nice (well for me ) to actually win a tourney game 5-0 as opposed to being on the recieving end. Last tou... |

Cheers Mark For my first Marine army (wish I hadn't have sold it) I created my own Razors from the base of the plastic Whirlwind and the LAS cannon from the old, old crappy metal Razorback. Looked damn good, even if I do say so myself. It's just that I love the Epic40k era beasts with the san... |

Says it all really, I'm after the multipart Epic 40k era Marine Razorback. 6 of them to be precise. I just got 6 off ebay, but require another half dozen for my expanding marine army. I'm going for a shooty tactical horde Think it's possible, especially with Razorbacks, Warhounds and to... |

Thanks Honda I'll certainly bow to your experience then with the Railguns and IC's and specialise, I just felt the difference of 15cm was minimal. The Orca idea sounds remarkably straight forward and the best approach for me as i'm not much of a modeller and using a ?16 Orca to experiment doesn't se... |

Say I declare an air assault against a unit of crisis suits. Do they get to fall back 10cm before my Thunderhawk comes onto the table or when it's landed? The latter seems the most logical but the way I read the ruling it seems to imply they fall back as soon as it's declared and rolled for initiati... |

Hiya. As the topic title suggests (hopefully deposited in the appropriate forum) I'm looking to get me a Tau force. I've read through the list, read plenty of battle reports and viewed the Forgeworld site. I'm now prepared to spend my money. The Tau don't really interest me in 40k, primarily because... |
