A campaign sounds excellent, I'd use Orks but I'm a bit of a newb at this Armageddon lark (was a Space Marine player back in the day) so hopefully you'll go gentle. QMU sounds good, we could also get together for a game at the G3 club on Tuesdays Couldn't do first weekend in Nov though, off to the W... |

(Turret Gunner @ Aug. 14 2007,15:31)QUOTEI notice that you?ve used small nuts and bolts instead of rivets. Are they the ones that Antenociti Workshop sells? If so which ones? They are the Antenociti ones, I've got 2 packs the Square / Diamond - which are on the tower and the Sci Fi hex nut. They ar... |

Inspiring stuff, so inspiring in fact that I grabbed some bits of plastic and knocked up my own version.

If you email me a snail mail address then I can send you some of the Big Shoota guys, got plenty of spares

Thanks for all the kind comments, they have inspired to paint up some more, very worrying this constant painting lark. The first of my Fighta Bommas A dreadnaught and a couple of shots of a Warboss and Nobz, I'm not 100% convinced on the warboss standard, but its certainly better than the hand paint... |

Sand works well for me, I have various grain sizes from fine to coarse and mix and match depending on the size of the model.
For water leave a patch of the base uncovered and just apply several layers of ink. ?At Epic scale the shine will end up making it look like water |

Inspired by all the great pictures people have posted I thought I would give it a shot as well. ?I've only recently got back into Epic after giving up in disgust when SG pulled the plug (though I played 2nd Edition a long time ago) so I've got to paint yet another new army. Anyway hope you like them... |

These look great, especially like the greenstuffed bases.
The firing missile idea for the Fighta Bomba is also going on my 'great idea must steal it' list. |
