As far as the whole "realism" thing goes, Future War Commander is going to be just fine as it is based on the rules developed for historical wargaming and has produced satisfying results for many gamers which are sticklers for detail of a degree far greater than myself. Found out another use for smo... |

How do you deal with the fact that tanks just die? Or that you need 10 of them in a unit? |

I've been sucked in by these taller infantry!  I think I might be switching to 10mm for my sci-fi stuff.  The selection is definitely smaller, but it's just ever so slightly bigger and opens up 1/144-1/160 model kits. And the 10mm building kits you can get from Japan-- amazing! Not a lot... |

Thamar black is my favorite of the p3 paints. It is so pigment dense that you can thin it and thin it and it still covers perfectly. It's also perfect for black washes. Difficulty with it is probably from not thinning it enough. |

If I didn't have a local store that I like that sells P3 paints, I would totally go with Coat D'Arms.  Excellent paints.  Infact, I heard rumour that Privateer Press contracted the company that makes Coat D'Arms paints to make their P3 formulas!  The only basis I've ever seen for this rumou... |

Fabulous. I was wondering about those models and it's great to see pictures of them. I like the effect you got with the dozer blades and their caution stripes. |

Given it's size, what would you be using it as a proxy for in a game of Epic:Armageddon? A superheavy? A small titan? Or is it smaller than it looks next to that miniature? |

I just noticed something. Even before the price rise, the Forge World Epic stuff is actually cheaper per tank than the same product from Specialist Games part of GW. All prices converted to USD: FW: Forge World GW: GW US Prices CA: GW Canadian Prices Superheavy Tanks (Baneblade, Stormsword) FW... |

I've seen some people's armies where they got everything from one manufacturer and painted it all in one go so there was no progression or change in painting style and it looks really, really good. But I find I favour variety. I've got Dark Realm infantry, Reaper CAV flying vehicles for... |

I just found more info. They are pretty much exactly 10mm once they are based. And that assumes you use one of the ogre bases that has an indendation for the infantry to sit in. Sticking them on other bases would certainly make them taller. 10mm at 1:285 is 2.85 metres or 9 ft, 5 i... |
