Oh, no denying it's a ploy to sell more, hence a lot of the huge box sets that most people would never buy.  But there are also rules for large games, using point values that many players have already. 3000 points isn't that much, and for players that already have specific units, you get a hell...

epic and 40k cannot be compared.  Apocalypse has been around for years, if not over a decade.  Since the 90's players have had large enough forces to play 3000+ games, but until now all there has been is house rules.  Apocalypse is less about epic and more about making streamlined and...

nowhere near 8,000 pounds. devastators are cheaper than ever now, with each box set able to fill two squads. Veterans need not be any special models, simply a white helmet and bam, you're set. So let's look at this, and some future releases, shall we?  for 3000 pounds you get 10 commanders, 10 ...

Know your limit.  I have enough cruisers of each type (chaos) to make just about any force for any reason, even demonships.  If you want to go on the cheap, pick a style you like and go with it, lances, weapons batteries, or fighters,  or a combination of those.  If you're willin...

Yeah.  On the bright side i reported him to Harmony Gold a year later, they sued every last dollar he had (despite his quoting of the bible to get out of it, and his wife leaving with much of his money) and no one has heard from him since.  I hope he got what was coming to him...
