I'll try and get a few of the things on that list painted up as well as get a better-tested copy of the rules to you ASAP. |

I've been going through the ork stuff lately and I've been shocked stunned and appalled at how much better some of the ork stuff is in overall toughness and firepower. What you need to remember with the Orks is that the majority of their units are subject to the Ork Command rule. This makes some of... |

I'm afraid that I agree with zap. I really don't need to see any kind of simulation. I've been playing the game for as long as primarch and in all that time I've never had any issue with not being able to damage/destroy the VSGs on the units that don't actually have them listed in their damage table... |

My experience has shown that the Reavers are already much easier to kill than Warlords due to the exposure of the weak reactor armour to the side. With fewer Void shields and a more fragile hit location template they are much easier to kill than a Warlord. I really don't see that adding a Carapace l... |

If we can push the Tau a little later in the schedule I'll try and get the Codex a bit more balanced with some playtesting as well as try and get my minis painted an photographed. |

Hey all.  I've been very, very quiet for a while now due to the reasons zap mentioned.  I've gotten a little bit of my time back now and am looking at getting epic-active again. Quote: Before the Tau codex  shows up, I have some suggestions about Tau stats and point costs Here is my p... |

With NetEpic Gold around the corner, I have been thinking about my beloved Tau a bit but due to recent illness I might have missed the boat. My experience with playing them is that their Markerlights are not particularly useful. They play a BIG role for the Tau in 40K and most players wi... |

The Remoras are listed as being excellent dogfighters while their control craft is still alive. They are very good at taking down enemy fliers as they are very small and very, very hard to hit. This is why I gave them a fairly high CAF. I made them better than the Barracudas as the... |

The Tigershark AX-2-2 is basically a Tigershark Drone Carrier without the Ion Cannons and the capacity to carry two Remoras. Here is what I was thinking: Tigershark AX-2-2: Move 60cm; Save 3+; CAF +2 Burst Cannons 35cm; 4 Dice; 4+ to hit; 0 TSM AA Seeker Missiles* 75cm; 1 Dice; 4+ to hit; -1 TSM Fly... |

You can mark the building, auto-hitting and then call down a barrage on it. Its a very valid tactic. If your enemy knows you have this capability, they either keep out of the buildings or they take the casualties when they happen. Tough luck for them! Remember that the Tau pay a pr... |

The intention when I wrote the rules for the Manta and Moray Burst cannons was that the "fore" cannons shoot only into the front 180 degrees and the "aft" only shoot into the back 180 degrees but they can soot at other fliers. The first time we tried them out the Manta and Moray were woefully ... |

Mine was when I was on the way to an Epic tourney many, many years ago. I was on my way out of my flat when I had to dodge another student flying up the stairs. As he passes me he clips my carry case and it falls out of my grasp. 6000pts of epic orks, most freshly painted and including t... |

Ah ha! A topic I know much about. When I went to write the netepic Tau codex ages ago I looked into this. Here are the options I found: Fire Warriors/Pathfinders: GZG 6mm UNSC Marines hardsuit infantry platoon (Code: DSM-135) DRM Kraytonian Karrok II and Guard (Code: RI0007) Crisis... |

We've always played it that you canc harge both detachments as long as the charging unit can maintain formation after the charge is finished. |

For a pair of them you are looking at 800pts minimum. I assume that use a similar damage template to the other Ordinatus units and have the Ordinatus shield as well. For that kind of firepower and protection, based on the other Ordinatus minis (which are between 350 to 500pts each) I wou... |
