Ah... But you forget the Necrons have "ward" saves. 4+ on Tombships, 5+ on the cruisers, and 6+ on escorts.

If you BFI against weapon batteries, you will be hit on 4+ which is 3 times more hits against you than if you don't. Of course the 2+ save usually makes up for that, but you will pay for it in the following turn with half FP and no other special orders. Even so, it may sometimes be worthwhile bracin...

I too would really like to see some new Dark Eldar ships (and rules too). With only two ship classes and nearly cloned Eldar rules, there is just not much point to using them unless you are a Dark Eldar fan-boy, and even then...

The Chaos stuff is mostly Khorne and undevided. There are several different Demon Engines of Khorne, an old beetle-back Titan with the metal chaos bits, a bunch of infantry, a number of flesh-hounds, some Bloodthirsters and Bloodletters, a bunch of SM Rinos and Land Raiders, and a lot of Dreadnaught...

Those are the sprues from the original Tyranid swarm box. I have some of the same. Plenty of people spray their models while they are on the sprue. I used to do that unitl I found I had trouble getting them in their little bases afterward.
