Thanks for coming up with the scenario and doing the report Mephiston, it was a truly Epic game. Great fun to play. That cursed terminator chaplain on table 3 wil live in my nightmares. He single-handedly (ie, one stand of terminators with a chaplain) won assaults against a fleet of gunwagons, a cla... |

Thanks for posting the report Chroma - I'm really looking forward to Total War. Seems to have loads of interesting ideas. Concealment counters look like fun, and a very good way of making these smaller firefight scenarios challenging.
Keep up the good work! |

There’s been a bit of talk about using different scenarios in tournaments recently, and it got me thinking of ideas about how you might run an Epic campaign weekend, keeping the friendly competition you get at Epic tournaments, but bringing in some different styles of game. I must point out t... |

I think both these scenarios look excellent - they will really provide some extra variety to games of Epic. Looking forward to seeing the whole supplement.
I like the contingent concept - can't see any reason why it shouldn't work from a first read. |

Yes, thanks to all for a great day of gaming at Warhammer World. It'd be good to do it again some time. |

Sounds very good, I'd like to come along. I'd probably bring Orks, Steel Legion and AMTL. |

Nice ideas, but you probably need to be a bit careful about allowing very unevenly matched battles as these might not be much fun to play. Small points differences would be good though. |

Yes please! That sounds unbearably good. |

Welcome to the boards. Infantry certainly has its uses. Great for garrisoning on overwatch, holding objectives, making use of cover. When mechanised, an IG infantry company can also race about aggressively, rolling over things (some things) in assault. The way the Steel Legion list is structured, ge... |

Wow! Awe-inspiring stuff, in quantity and quality. The sheer whiteness of those titans is incredible - think I might steal that colour scheme for my next Reaver if that's ok with you |

Thoughts on the Imperator I liked him. I was a bit paranoid that everything would hide from him so comprehensively that he would never get to shoot, but he had targets in all 4 turns of this game, partly because I usually activated him early. His firepower wasn’t as destructive as you might i... |

Thanks to Mephiston for a great game, and for writing up the report. That was fun! Although the Imperials carried the day, I think the moral victory goes to the Eldar. Allying two armies gave me a bit of an advantage by diluting one of the Titan's main weaknesses (lack of activations). And I think M... |

Who's the daddy?! In the last move of the game, the Imperator passes his activation test (despite the Avatar's efforts), doubles round the Eldar god and takes up position right at the centre of the board. With support from the thunderbolts, the god-machine bathes the revenants in enough withe... |
