I suspect Mr Gonzo is involved with this.

Are we going Ryder cup structure? I suggest (in no particular order) for each player a 3k game, 2 minigeddon games & a pairs game (maybe total of 2k per side). Needless to say I'm super up for this.

Mr Gonzo is very much involved. Nothing is set in stone yet, but after discussion between the clubs over beers the consensus was to keep it simple and have 3 games of 3k over the day. If I remember correctly each team will submit a list of players for each table for the first game Ryder Cup style. I don't think a decision was made on how we would match players for the 2nd and 3rd games.

3 of SLW's probable team (including me) played a game on Thursday evening and nearly managed to complete the first turn after 4 hours. It may have had something to do with the many beers consumed! It is safe to say based on the evidence that CLW are favourites, although we like being the underdog and have the not so secret weapon of Richard on our side at least!

Carlos, are you going to play? I make it 3 from CLW so far: Mark, Mr Gonzo, and I. Is the plan to use dark sphere again?

Mr Gonzo is selecting and organising the venue if I remember correctly, and he was looking at Dark Sphere. Fortunately both Escape (CLWG) and the Bedford (SLW) are good back-up options with excellent transport links if not.

I am in, assuming we can resolve details and dates etc.
So that is at least Four for CLWC, though it is debateable whether my inclusion is beneficial or not . . . ;)

If you're in Carlos that makes it 5 a side!

Team South London Wargamers confirmed:

Richard L
Charles (Orange)
Chris
Barry
Rob (me)

Chris has only played a bit of Minigeddon before and Barry is completely new to the game, but what they lack in knowledge and experience they will make up for in enthusiasm and bravery!

We all have Eldar armies but thought it would be a bit rubbish if we all took the same thing. Therefore by lending each other models etc we have managed to have all five players using completely different armies similar to the Euros. Therefore CLWC will be able to enjoy playing against a variety of different armies on the day.

Sounds great, I think we've got 4 confirmed Mark w, florian (me Gonzo), Gavin (ginger), and me. Sure we'll be able to rattle up a 5th player. Good call on all going different races. Are we allowing net ea if no epic UK provision? If yes Mark and I will Duke it out over squats (with the runner up taking the monstrously overpowered eldar titan legion #notserious). Really looking forward to it. Clwc folk, I'll ask Nick on Thursday as he's only played a couple of games?

We have all used Epic UK lists. Could Squat models be used with another army's rules? For example maybe using Imperial Guard rules? If not we'll have to ask everyone what they think.

I'd probably be ok with allowing squats, at least it means we have an excuse when Team SLW loses horribly doesn't win every game.
