my thoughts:

Well, that was a real beating i took! Guess i don't rally know how to use drop pods effectivly yet. Also did some stupid stuff in turn 2 that got me killed. But it was a fun game for sure! 3 formations of drop podding terminators didn't feel overpowered. but maybe 5 will...

I don't know, it seems your drop pods suffered the same problems as they always do, i.e.:
1. You aren't guaranteed to hit anything with either the bombardment or the deathwinds
2. After activating the spaceship you can only retain once to activate one of the formations, meanwhile they're exposed to counter attack.
3. Once down, they are stuck where you put them whilst the rest of your army is on the other side of the table.

Thus I personally don't see podding termies as being particularly problematic compared with teleporting termies. If it all were to go perfectly to plan, sure, but that's just theory.

Ok, thought it might be my incompetence only...

Drop poddibg in the middle of the board on tirn 1 or waiting until turn 2 fwels a little bit more secure.

I find that tank legion list rather an odd one against Marines (despite the win). No judgments, just find it illuminating the differences in various groups. Can you actually point out where the bombardment and pods were plotted to hit? One of the difficulties in picture reports is understanding where/what.
