Quote (CyberShadow @ 16 2005 May,13:06) | A very cool game. Was the Aliens game the one on the square board with cardboard stand-ups and the final queen-out-the-airlock scene. I have that somewhere... | Yes
But you never played the final queen-out-the-airlock scene cause it was rubbish...
The game mechanics were quite clever and one I have used for other games.

I remember that the 'airlock' bit always felt that they just put it in as a movie tie-in, rather than because it added anything to the game. I liked the way that the Aliens dropped out of the roof, and it did have a bit of tension about it. Now, where did I put that game...

Hi!
I remember that game, but never picked it up, although I was tempted.
One "tile" type game I did like and bought was Legions of Steel. The company is defunct, but the game is quite good.

Quote (primarch @ 15 2005 May,07:39) | Original space hulk was such a great game! | I agree, it was back when the Genestealers were cool and not just a troop type for the bugs.

Quote (Jimbo @ 15 2005 May,18:26) | I have been playing Space Hulk quite a bit recently and really enjoying it.
Another good similar game was the ALIENS boardgame. | If you like that kind of feel, did you try the Aliens CCG?
It was more like a board game then a "CCG" game.

Hi!
Hehe, when they belonged to a "cult" not a race.... ?
Primarch | Miss those times. The Primarch, the Magus, the half-breads, and the Genestealers. What a Cult!
We even had butchered some of the plastic IG to be part of the cult. One friend found a plastic limo about the right size for my "Cult-car".
