I believe the Manta is the Tau equivalent to a Titan ... very cool ! ?I have one, but like all my Tau & Kroot, it's still in the box ... :{

The Tau Manta is a cool model.  Mine is going to get a enhanced paint job to improve what I did for the review I did a while back.  Just wasnt happy with it at the time and thought I would change it to match the other Tau bits I have painted up.

Not sure who I want to win this EoT but as long as its a good match up I am happy :cool:

Anyone been on the EoT site recently? Eye Of Terror

They have added a cool new video to it, which is better than the old informationless crappy old site, which was released in an anticlimax (you know what I mean). It had so little information on it, when we expected so much.

Cheers

Chris

But the Armageddon Codex was small, and the site was massive. I think it will be the opposite way round this time, big Codex and a small site. A possibility?

Cheers

Yep- the Codex will be a "thick" type- like Cityfight, Tau etc, costing ?8... So expect lots of rules and fluff...  :D

I've had a flick through the Eye of Terror Codex and wasnt all that impressed to be honest. I didnt have time to have a good read, but it didnt have much in it that was of interest to me. I guess I was hoping to find lots of cool new stuff, but the down side of getting insider info meant I'd heard/seen most of it before.

A lot of pretty cool artwork though. Some of it has been seen before dotted around the place, but on first glance it looks like they've had a LOT of new stuff done for it which is always nice.

One weird point though, for all the stuff in there about the new cadians Blah Blah Blah, all the pictures show the old models! there's not a plastic cadian in the entire book, which I was rather dissapointed about seeing asits got to be one of themost awaited releases since the land raider and the models are so class  :cool:

...Yeah does seem odd there are none of the (great looking) new Cadians in it- are the other new models- Death Guard, Wulfun etc? ???

I have to say I cant remember! I was mainly interested in the cadians and it was basically shoved in my face as I was flying out the door with an "oh, I forgot to show you this" attatched. I seem to recall wulfen, but honestly couldnt say for sure on either.

Does anyone have a copy of the video or know where I could find it?

Go to the Eye Of Terror website. Under the writing on the right hand side is a button that says play video. To be honest, its nothing special, no sound either.

Cheers
