Yes, the "count as rules" make sense and should be obvious.  In the E-A downloads Jervis did a pretty good job in that respect and in some cases even gave stats for many the older models.  However, as you mentioned Chris, the Leviathan was a Regt. Command vehicle in SM1 & 2, IIRC. So as long as you all agree on what is equal to what (within reason) there should not be a problem.  And again, history is a good "guiding light" even with Epic. If you doubt that, read Jervis's "Epic Evolution" piece and note how many times he makes historical references in the E-A downloads.  Or read comic books and play 40K !!!   :laugh:

In light of the recent semi-official inclusion of Silver Towers and the overall progression of the chaos lists and miniature lines, I have revised my Thousand Sons list.  I will be posting a new version on the Yahoo sites that host such stuff.

I wanted to know if you guys wanted me to try to post it here.  If so, is there a way to post the Word doc, or will I have to reformat it to put it in as text?

Uhm, which progression? Last I checked, epic chaos minis won't be out until 2006 at best....

Jervis and crew's latest word on the chaos line is that there son't be a new sculpt on infantry sprues. ?That means the lists are being modified to conform to the existing sprue composition.

For example, there will not be Horror and Screamer units. ?Flamers and LoChange will be the only Tzeentch daemon units.

Also, as the budget for new sculpts is limited, more of the old figs will probably be made available and the LatD list will be adding official Silver Tower stats.

Plus, I think my new design is more in keeping with the design philosophy that Jervis has professed - only 2 new units (Rubric Terminators and Cabal Sorcerers), 2 new upgrades (Thrall Wizards and Warp Flame) and no new special rules.  I dropped some of the units as superfluous, and replaced others with rough equivalents that have been added to the lists in the past few months.

For example, rather than have a Tzeentch Sorcerer Lord upgrade, I just included a mandatory Chaos Lord and Sorcerer upgrade in each infantry formation.
