What's this Psi-Titan??

Basically, it's a set of 5 metal pieces which need to be mounted on a warlord sprue. I *think* the actual moulds date back from the AT era, but for some reason they were never released (probably someone thought they looked lame or something). The pieces were made available through the GW US online store up until the entire Epic archive was shut down last year.

Unfortunately, I was away from anything Epic at the time, so I lost my chance on this, as well as the Exodites and a few other unreleased pieces.

As far as I know, no rules have ever been made for the unreleased models, in any version of Epic.

Yes, I'm in fact Luca from the NetEpic group. I'm scanning the 1998 annual right now, so I'll have everything ready for this week-end update. If I get your pictures within Saturday, I'll include them in the update.

I'm pretty happy with the project, I think the books will look very good when completed.

Now, if only I could get my hands on the actual psi-Titan, instead of just pictures...  :p

I'm debating with myself whether to go into the three digits on that one. Crazy, I know... :oo :oo

I know epicollector has been after that for some time, after looking at the bids so has everybody else.  I like the model even though it looks top heavy. I have been watching it myself and would be interested in how far that goes.

any pics of it assembled?  Not quite sure what those metal items bottom left of the pic suppose to be.

I'm pretty happy with the project, I think the books will look very good when completed.

What book is this?

What book is this?

The NetEpic Hardware books.  Started as one book but ended up being a series.

Basically, I'm writing PDF files containing names and pictures of every single variant of every single piece ever produced by GW and FW for the Epic line.

The one for Imperial armies (IG, SM, TL, Siegemaster) is nearing completion. I've already catalogued all unit types (well, I think I have), and for many units I should have all the correct "Marks" and "Variants". Still missing a good deal of pictures, though.

For the Orks I've only uploaded a preliminary preview, missing many units and almost every variant, although you can already find the complete Great Gargant entry (I think).

I'm planning to upload a major update to the Imperials later this week, which will include every possible variant component of the E:40K time frame. After this one goes online, I'm planning to concentrate reearch on the Orks to bring the relevant book up to a decent stage. Next ones in line are Eldar and Chaos. The plan is to eventually cover everything.

You can currently upload the PDFs from the file section of the NetEpic Yahoo groups. I plan to include a few introductory pages with legal disclaimers and assorted thanks; after I'm done with this, I think I'll let the files have better distribution.

Oh btw: for a good look at the assembled PSI-Titan:

http://www.epic40k.co.uk/epicomp/stpage17.html

The thing on top is rather goofy-looking, and so is the head, IMO; I can see why they would not release this model. But in the end they did, damn them!, and so now I wants it, my preciousssss.....

Received them, thanks; the only problem is one of the files (Gorgon) is in psp format, and apparently my apps can't read it. No biggie though; everything else is fine and will be online with the update.
