HEh

Methinks I'll do a little bit of db planning; I can't host atm, but I might be able to help with setting one up.

Having looked at that file, I can think of a few bits its missing from the current pages:

Mk1 Gorgon (see page 1)  -also, why is the Siegfried under the Gorgon heading?

Mk 1 Whirlwind (have a couple)

Plastic Knights Paladin (whose weapon arms were the other way around)

Any E40k vehicles (unless also released in E:A)

Hi!

I wondered about those as well. If you wind up touching base with him point them out.

If you are looking for pictures of unpainted minis, and bits, then this is something that I can actually help out with. I cant do painted, but I have a few minis in the 'when I get the time' pile!

I would set up the book with as complete a list as I could, then add something like "Picture Needed" where I did not have a picture. That way, as someone looks through it they might say "Hay I have one of those" and send in a picture.

I would not wait until I had pictures to include them in the listing. I think this is where Epicollecter has made his mistake. He will not list something until he has a picture he likes.

I'm with dafrca on this one; if you know there is a model out, but you haven't been able to get a pic of a fig, you should still let people know that it is out there.

D'you think I'm still a bit ambitious, dafrca?

Ambitious, Yes. Smart, also yes.  :D

I think the saying goes... "He who dares, wins."

Hi!

I just think it NEEDS to get done. Nothing this large is going to be perfect, but there isnt anything even close to a completed version yet, so even if this one get close to complete would be invaluable as a resource.

What's wrong with aiming for perfect? :)

On the other hand, I've realised that this will be a case of teaching myself SQL and PHP at the same time, which could be fun. Fortunately, one of my Uni modules atm is database design, so that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
