I was realy excited about DoW, but when I played the demo I found it disapointing. I guess I am just very burned out with RTS games that don't seem to have changed much since Dune, C&C, etc...
Now playing the Rome Total war demo and I am very excited. For some reason I never noticed the other Total War games but boy is this good!

I am rather disappointed in the fact that they stuck to the same old formula with DoW, but with GW calling the shots (and don't be fooled, they were), I guess they figured tried and true was better, and that GW fanboys everywhere would purchase the game. And that is a correct assumption, I bought it. Although I will probably return it or trade it in on another game. If you want to daydream, just think of mixing the DoW graphics and animations with the Rome:Total War engine.

But for a game like that, I bet you would upgrade or buy/borrow/liberate a new computer. I know I would.

Or you could just not play computer games at all, like me, and then have more time to play Epic.

Doom3? Was there a Doom3? Oh yes, already forgot about that game. After all the hype, I did expect better from ID. Oh well, on to Half-Life 2 when it comes out!

Hi!
I was mostly addicted to the multi-player, very fun.
But, yes, HL2 is the game to wait for.
