The 3.1.5 version uses teleport and everyone said it was a hard thing to deal with.
I volunteered to start a redraft of the Elysian list, and there is a new version 4.X which is currently upto version 4.2.0 which I think is the version I want for the Elysians list to look like. It can be found on this page. The list has replaced the teleport with Planetfall, as I had previously tried self-planetfall, and that was a disaster. Everything arrived peicemeal, and got shot up. Planetfall allows for the army to drop in all at once, and then overwhelm the enemy. It is its only change to do something as the army has so many weakness built in - small formaton sizes, no real long range weapons, except for the one shot missiles the expensive vultures have, there is little in the way of MW, and except for the spaceship, no TK weapons.
The list has a lot of smaller companies but they only have range 30cm weapons for every second unit, have no armour save, and easily broken. The easy to break drop sentines provide a range 15cm MW M/Melta, but beng LV with a 6+ save, they die and break quickly. The army is not really designed to sit and take punishment. You have to hit the enemy, select the targets of most threat like Artillery, War Engines, etc and hope you take them out.
Once the enemy is weakened you might be even things up, as your formations slowly get broken, and BMed to death. The army is a brittle hammer. Hits hard and hopes that hit breaks the enemy. If not, try and survive.
