Hi everyone!!

How unbalanced would it be to have the AMTL missiles loadout on the Deathstrike Launchers formation for the IG (the 2 units for 200 pts)?

Vortex, Warp, Deathstrike and Barrage....

That is the way it was played in AT/CT/SM1 … You could pick the ordinance for your Titan support and off-board missiles. And once Deathstrikes were added with SM2/TL. IIRC you could do the same … but we did that based on AT/SM1 anyway. If that is what you are asking ? :-\

Bottom line if you pay "extra" for that weapon you can use it. That is the way we played it. As very powerful weapons cost more to "purchase" and put on the board as we all know …

rock paper scissors. If you know what your opponent is bringing then it's overpowered. If not e.g. for a tournament I would say its ok for 200pts. They are incredibly fragile. Having said that, barrage looks a bit too good. EpicUK apparently toned it down in AMTL to 8BP no disrupt (vs 10 BP disrupt)

As long as you & your gaming crew agree … then do what works you & them. But in tournament play you have to go with whatever those rules are … 8)

Yep my idea was to start using the barrage missile. It's seems quite powerful, and useful as with two DS launchers I can save fielding lots of artillery batteries and companies.

I field them very often with the standard TK1d6. And it would be cool to have other varieties...
