"Only the insane have the strength to prosper. Only those who prosper may truly judge what is sane."

Sounds like the author of this quote had me in mind...

If I was sane, I'd probably not survive all I had through my life.

I know my wife thinks I sit and paint 'fleas' all weekend, but does that make me insane?

What is this mystical Catch 22? I've been seeing references to it from Paranoia RPG products to various forums in the net yet nobody has ever defined it.  :o  ???

Catch 22, a book by Joseph Heller
Basically to get out of the war you'ld have to be mad, but to want to get out of the war is completly sane, so you're snookered!

You got that correct "J" !  Read the book when I was in grade school, IIRC (!?), takes place during WWII in the Med with a B-25 (?) squadron.    There is a movie out too, came out in the 60s or 70s ... very anti-war, kind of amusing, in the same vein as "MASH".  Might be worth a casual look ...     :;):

Does this count as insane?
A friend of my wifes', knowing I paint 'toys' (hmmph) asked me to paint her 4 year old's 'shredder' character silver rather than the flesh plastic as cast, So he now has a primed, undercoated, silvered and high-lighted figure........if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing right, right?

Right ... I've painted some "other-than-Epic" models for people ... mostly historical. ?They turned out pretty good ... if I do say so myself !

Going back to spoons, I noticed that McD's have a groovy square one, chop off the spoon part and the 'pen' clip, file down the logo and you have yerself a tower, approx 12/13mm at the base, tapering to 6/7mm, 100mm or so tall
