Forumware Reaver Titan is, not counting the base, 7.5 cm to top of shoulder guard. 8.2 cm to top of dorsal mount weapon (again not counting the base). 8.8 cm counting the base.

Looks like there are two Epic 30k groups and I’m only in the other one. What’s that a picture of?

Also, here’s a pic with a new Blood Bowl mini. I don’t know how big those are.

I’m assuming the knights are plastic too, but the various ad copy isn’t mentioning that like it does for the reaver and warlord.

Can anybody confirm one way or the other?

Yeah, I can’t see anything through the Facebook links. I’m either getting an error on the one, and am not authorized to view the pictures on the other.

The knights are on the same size base as the blood bowl model.

Per the GM website, a similar looking BB mini uses a 32mm base, which makes the reaver base 80mm and the warlord base 110mm (approximately, I'm not sure that size makes sense)

If that's the case, then the warlord is about 125 mm tall, or 5". That isn't as bad as I was expecting.

Of course, if those small bases are 40mm, then the warlord is >6" tall.

Knights are plastic too (there will be resin conversion kits released in future for both in future).

That Blood Bowl model is on a 32mm base.

Maybe they are a reasonable match after alll? If they not too far off we can use them together happily anyway and asume the forge world's that made them got the scale size wrong on the plans or something.

Their Warlord is very likely on one of their 120 x 92mm bases. The Reaver probably their 105 x 70mm bases (or maybe the next smallest at 75mm by 42mm). I highly doubt they would design new bases for the game rather than using existing sizes.

Good to know. I figured they had to be, since they came in the box set, but it was weird they didn’t call that out the way they did the bigger ones.

If the warlord is on a 120mm wide base, then it’s probably closer to 6” tall, because it’s clearly taller than the width of the base.

But, what really matters to me is how big the knights are, and they look like they would be fine next to some E:A era land raiders.

According to Andy Hoare on FB, the Warlord is 'exactly 1/4 the size of the 40k model' someone else said it's 2/3 the height of a 40k questions knight

So, do we know how big either of those are?

The Warlord is 22 inches tall thus 1/4 = 5.5 inches.
But is it to the tops of the guns or the shoulders?

Time will tell.

Cheers

Traditionally, Truescale 6mm has been a 1:5 ratio from a 40k model.

That would make these models, 1:4 scale, 7.5mm scale.

So roughly 25% bigger than a forum titan maybe? Though I think I heard the scale was maybe out of whack on the forum warlord and it ended up bigger than it should be compared to the others, though I don't know by how much.

On a different topic relating to the new game, how do people feel the EpicA tournament scenerio would play on 6 of those Realm of Battle tiles? Building and straight very wide roads all over the place basically.

Edit: I was wrong, the Knights are on 40mm round bases (confirmed by Andy Hoare from GW on facebook).

Not sure who to credit for this.

Lower picture is a forumware knight.

Looks smaller, but the angle is different which doesn't help.
