I am most interested in how the scale of the new models looks alongside the proxies and fan sculpts which are much larger than the originals. I know the rumours say 8mm, but GW's sense of scale is... elastic, shall we say? =-P

Hi!

I'd be surprised if these models don't drawf even the truescale 6mm ones out there.

They say 8mm, but their "elasticity" may even make it closer to 10mm.

Oo, news! Or at least something :P

@Primarch I suppose at least there are worse things than being roughly compatible with games like Dropzone Commander...? :P

Ah well, at least it generates some topics for discussion and some interest! We wait yet longer!

PS: @Primarch, how goes work on the aforementioned rules you've been tinkering with?

Hi!

I think you maybe right them being Drop Zone Commander scale. That's exactly how big they will be. ;)

ID (Imperious Dominus) rule set is going full tilt and will be releasing version 0.2 soon. Work on the army cards is also progressing rapidly. We literally work on this daily. Its a lot of work, but fun work. We even have about 3 play test groups. Drop me an email (pramos10@cox.net) if you want to see the files of everything. :)

Hi!

Awesome!

I'm getting answers to your questions via email.

Let's keep this topic off this thread, to keep it about the new AT. :)

Yea, sorry for my part in beginning the slight thread derailment! I suppose it will provide background for reviewing the new AT rules in the context of other rulesets ;) :P

You may very well receive an e-mail, Primarch! :D

I'm personally just hoping for some lovely new Titan miniatures for use with Epic. As a secondary concern, I'm hoping that they don't look too amazing or are scaled too big compared to previous ranges, so as to make the rest of my Titan collection look rubbish or not scale with them! :)

The rules are kind of a secondary concern, as I think most will go back to playing Epic in one form or another before too long.

According to Bell of Lost Souls, there’s going to be an Adeptus Titanicus seminar at ‘Warhammer Fest’ this weekend.

I assume that’s some sort of to-do at GW headquarters, so if you’re in the neighborhood swing by and get us the scoop.
