Yep, they are Infantry. And it's the benifit of running them in your HQ

Pretty sure that Uven has quit the boards so probably step one would be a subAC. Step two is likely testing that ordinatus and getting it to work. Step 3 then would be the 18 tests

I love this list and think its fanatstic as is...... except the Ordinatus.... I just see no reason to ever field it as it currently is.
But do I have a solution? No not really, I just don't know what role it's supposed to play here

I got steamrollered by someone in a Cadian test game but I can remember for the life of me who?

The Ordinatus was a big distraction from the super heavy transports.... but not hugely effective in itself.

I'm thinking of taking my Cadians for a small tournament next weekend. I could probably do some reporting. Is it just the Ordinatus that needs testing or something else as well. I really like the list and it would be nice if we could make it Approved :)

I usually play something like:
HQ
Kasrkin+extras in 2 Stormlords
2x Kasrkin on foot (or one more in Stormlord)
2x Hellhounds
2 choices from Arty/Deathstrikeshydras
1 or 2 Super heavies and/or Leman Russes
Some Thunderbolts

Ideas for something to test?

If I remember there's been a change to the Kasrkin that needs some sanity checking (your list above would suffice there). How you get along with them in your tourny this w/e being reported would be greatly appreciated!

When was that change made? What was changed?
I use the document found on the first page (named 1.56, but the inside says 1.55) where Kasrkin is 5+ / 5+ / 4+ Plasma guns AP5+/AT5+. 7 and a commander at 175 pts.

I've played against this alot since UvenLord is my most regular opponent in Epic. I think theres an issue of to many cheap formations in this list and that is something that really needs to be looked at again.

This is the Army list I use the most when playing Epic.

The list above seems powerful but perhaps a bit too slow?? I don't use Stormlords, but plenty of Hellhounds and Griffons that add some speed...

I think a +25 point increase to Kaskrin units (without adding more units) is needed. Preferable even more points, they should atleast cost 225 IMO (but then with more units). That would mitigate some of my pop corn concerns with the list (i.e to many cheap actiavations available).

Changing the size is difficult imo. 1 unit = 1 stormlord; upgrades = 2 stormlords is fine.
Perhaps +25 pts with some discount for 2 stormlords to compensate? Most lists seems to have 2 or 3 kasrkin companies, and 50-75 pts raise for them, will problably make for one activation less.

Otherwise a change of list structure like the chaos list, with support (1:2 ratio) and restricted (1:1 ratio) and the restricted being Superheavies, Deathstrikes, Sentinels, Flak). But it wouldn't make much sense "fluff-wise". But rather a playable list..

I'd vote against a price increase to Karskin, at 175 they are costed fairly IMO.
Without spending more points on them and taking them flat "as is" they can garrison, but have no ranged weapons and aren't that fast and are only 8 man strong.

Remeber as well that you don't have the fast moving warhounds in this list to do the 1-2 punch of supporting infantry engagements (limited to other units)

Pushing them up to even 200pts each would have serious effect on building viable armies from the list (Especially if you want to run some big toys)
Too many of the other Imperial lists it's not worth taking a titan instead of doing an almost pure force.
