Hey guys - I'm working on the cars now.

Note - the cannon turrets are just place holders. What do you think of the cars?

Very nice but is it possible to make them more rectangular and maybe smaller track height than the engine like a steam locomotive?

How about this? By shortening the car you get a rectangular look...

The previous height was perfect if longer causes them to not fit on the base then just keep it the same as its only minor.

I like the shorter iteration.

I was expecting the cars to be longer, no doubt a preconception due to real world trains, but if you want to keep them on the 20x20 base that won’t work.

I am thinking that the couplers look awefully vulnerable. Can they be shortened at all? Or maybe at least give them some form of armor?

I think I like the look of the shorter cars. I tried out adding windows, and removing the shield generators, but it looked a bit funny.

Here's a shot of the cars during a maximum turn (45 degrees per car) - hence the longer connectors and base size needs. I can probably bulk the connectors up a bit...

Overall - I think I'm about there - time to work on all the weapon add-ons. This thing has become a huge project, but I think it'll be awesome when done.

Ah the round things are shield generators, fair enough, I'm more ok with them with them if they have a purpose.

I4s prefer the weapons to be mounted so they can rotate to fire to some degree rather than being fixed in place too.

That is looking very good! I agree that the second version of the cars looks better, and I do like the turrets as they are. I imagine there will be other turrets for the cars, such as AAA and artillery weapons mounts?

Looks pretty short-range, however "short" is a relative term after all. And not meant to imply anything about the Grudd's vertical stature :D

Will tube artillery options be available as well?
