I prefer the look of the missile racks and the fusion cannon to the original honestly. I'd probably buy them over the original if there was a choice.

However I think one of them needs to have its gun emplacement angled slightly. I know this might not be aerodynamic, but these copters are not really aerodynamic anyway. An angled gun emplacement, especially one that looks like it can alter position would be distinctive and look great.

Hi just a thought would it be better to make a base hull and provide a separate weapons sprue?
The only difference between the models are the top weapons and lower weapons.
This would allow you to create new weapons in the future without having to make a big mold for each model.

If you make a cargo hauler then the middle box could have one removable side that an be customized with a bunker face or a heavy gun face for the( puff the magic dragon) gunship or a cargo face saving another mold.

Cheers D

Hi again I have had many custom casts made for jewelry findings that I have designed. So that's the reason I have been talking about molds.
I am just putting out some ideas in the hopes that a different viewpoint will help in some small way.
Cheers

I appreciate all the ideas guys! Great food of thought.

As for multi-part models - I have found that at this scale, and metal, the fewest parts possible is the way to go. Multi-part works much better for plastics, where scale "squishing" and slight deformations aren't an issue.

That just means you need to switch to God's own material: resin! ;)

Cool flyers. Interesting takes in these tropes.

Resin? Hiss! Boo!

I'm still not a massive fan of the blunt noses and generally stubby proportions, but the first with the heavy underslung cannon is really growing on me.

Plans to sell each mark individually or just as a set with the others?

Each mark on its own. 3 per pack.

I detest metal in 28mm figs, way too much of a pain to assemble, but in small scale it is really the only option for most things. Resin and plastic are just too fragile once pieces get as thin as some 6mm stuff has to be.

It better be. I worry about you when I think how big a Primarchload-sized pitchfork and torch set could be...

Hey guys - been working on something...Big. WIP shots of the Magni Mega Artillery Cannon. The Jord is shown on a 20x40mm base - the Magni is on a 40x60mm base.

The model will have separate stabilizer legs, and multiple lift pistons so you can model it in various stages of deployment.

Thoughts?

Great look!! Tiny thing- may be add some detail to the sides of the gun mount. They look a bit flat right now.
