Thanks, All.

Well, another 3 weeks, another battle company painted:

This brings me up to 11,500 points. Still to do:

Nearly there!

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm quite pleased with the apothecary. The Narthecium is one of my first attempts at press-moulding (also used for the bike apothecary and Master of the Apothecarion).

More progress! I've now done a third Land Raider detachment:

Thank you!

So, here's one more Scout detachment, with a Librarian. These are the last two Rhinos in the army (out of 42), so I will hopefully never have to paint another Rhino again.

Terminators with assault weapons up next. Only 10 units left to go!

good land raiders, always found the mk2 satisfying to paint, to the extent its one of the few minis i've painted too many of for any practical use

Thanks. I actually found these LRs quite difficult to paint. Something about this colour scheme as it applied to these particular models made for a hard time getting them to look good. I don't recall having the same trouble with my Chaos Land Raiders when I painted them, so I think it is just this particular colour scheme.

Well, here's the very last of the infantry for the army. A Terminator detachment with assault weapons:

I've never seen any rules for Assault Terminators in any lists (although they probably exist somewhere and I've just missed them) so they'll just have to count as regular Terminators. With hindsight, a better use for these models might have been mixed in through the other units rather than all together in a formation of their own. Still, too late now.

6 units to go!

Those terminators are looking utterly brilliant, great work!! the helmets on the sergeants are a particularly effective touch

Last time I looked, assault terminators were in the NetEA Black Templars list, I trialled them in the IF list but they suffered from the lack of a good air transport to get em where they needed to be

think the agreed stats were:

15cm move
4+ Armour
2+ CC
0 FF

Power weapons EA+1 MW
invulnerable save, reinforced armour, thick rear armour

Cheers. I figured they might exist somewhere, I just hadn't found them. Those stats are mostly what I'd have given them. I'd have considered going for EA+2, but that's probably over the top. I assume the Invulnerable save is to represent the Storm Shields, otherwise I'm not quite sure why that's there.

The IS is indeed for the storm shield and to provide a reason for them to be

Thanks.

So those last six units are finished at last. Firstly these Dreadnoughts:

And finally these Razorbacks with Heavy Bolter turrets:

Whole-army photos will follow shortly.

The Epic UK list instead has it at 13,025. Neither of those includes the SHT, which would be another 325 points based on the Imperial Fists list, but is not available (and has no sensible proxy option) in the Codex list.

Based on when I first posted pics here, it looks like I first started this army late last July. Which means that I have managed to get the whole project finished in just under a year. It's by far the most stuff I've painted in one continuous project and the first time I've finished a whole army in one go. I'm quite pleased.

Now I'm going to take a short break from 6mm and paint up a few other things. After that, I think I'm going to work a bit on improving my scenery and terrain before making a start on either some Imperial Guard or, more likely, Orks.
