no, i ripped the top out of the small model railway palm trees that i'd been planning to use, but which turned out to be too large. (ill probably have a lot spare if you have a use)

annnnd, back to guard. Got fed up with these and decided just to call them done.
There's not quite enough here to run Vanaheim airborne yet, but the 'geddon ork hunter formations that were going to make up the numbers are on pause while i have a break from vults and valks. Should have left the wings green on the decal wings rather than painting them black, as the black isn't different enough from the green.

10 valks,5 vendettas, 4 vultures = 152 window panels

Cheers. Those are all the GW metal version, much smaller than FW.
I'd never really settled on which skimmers id want to use if/when i did airborne, then kyuss' SG army' worth came up for sale end of last year so i thought i might as well take the chance.

Having said I was fed up with them in my last few posts, having got those photos done has re-motivated me all over again and i started on my 9 armageddon ork hunter skimmers this afternoon.

They do look inspiring on mass! The trees are another of your genius ideas which really give the army great sense of theme. Nice work.

Beautiful as always. The tree bases look fantastic, now you just have to get some Catachans(sp) to go with them!

Photobucket has blocked all my links to taccom unless i pay $9.99 a month
(change in their terms of service). This means that this/my hobby blog is effectively dead for now.

The wonderful $10 plan on offer from photobucket would give me 100gig of storage, but since my entire 1000+ hobby photo set there take up less than 200meg this is not an attractive deal just to get 3rd party links back.

I'll be moving my pictures to imgur. As i've got 1000+ of them im going to do it in bits now n then as needed. I don't consider imgur to be a good alternative as the more risque content on there may mean it is blocked at some organisations/countries. However, wordpress looks like far too much effort to build up retrospectively with 8 years of content.

All of my images on photobucket are still there, you can see them on the site here: http://s340.photobucket.com/user/Apocol ... t=3&page=1

My new imgur albums will be here:
http://apocolocyntosis.imgur.com/

If your content is on photobucket you might want to look at moving, ToS change will hit you too eventaully … heads up L4!

Here's a pip of my next 9 skimmers to make this a less negative post:
