Thanks, Apoc!!

The bases were textured with a mixture of Wall Filler, very fine sand, PVA and Water. Then they were painted grey and given a couple of pigment washes.

Great stuff! Think that's only the 2nd Emperor I've seen painted and you've done a nice job. Impressive output, too!

You guys are too kind, as always! Thanks for welcoming me back - I must admit it feels great to be back - I'm just sorry I had to lose all my previous threads, as some of my painting recipes were nowhere else, but I'll move on!!! :D
