Whilst I'd love to see more heavier ships, I can imagine them to be rather expensive kits to produce. Also, producing them in metal would be tricky (weight).

I've got the elites Destroyer and Frigate ready. The fighters are also there, but perhaps stuff like bombers, boarding craft and torpedoes would also be in order? As for heavier ships, how about a light/striking cruiser?

Mate you can't argue with the poll ;)

That being said i'd be interested in seeing what you have to offer.

Heavier warships could be a possibility, but I do recommend you'd then try to find somebody who can cast them in resin. Big metal ships might not be that effective.

I would love to have a heavier ship for the Novan Elites to fit with my Destroyer and Frigates (rulewise they could count as Novan Elites).

All my old battlefleet ships are metal i've had no problem with them, heavy yes but cheaper to produce than resin for me anyway.

Just to give peeps an idea of the ship/station designs:

Stations
At the moment we've got two variants, one armed with weapon batteries, another one with launch bays. The stations both have a diameter of about 5.5cm and are 3.5cm tall. Each station consists of a 'hull' part and 8 separate turrets (4 on top, 4 at the bottom):

Frigate
These types are most likely used by the Novan Elites, but possibly also by other Novan forces. The kit includes a hull, two turrets and two variants for broadside weapons. You can either turn this craft into a gunship with weapon batteries or into a carrier with its launch bays. Each frigate is about 5.2cm long, 2.4cm wide, and 2.5cm tall:

Destroyers
The smallest space ships of the Novan Elites that are capable of interplanetary travel. There are two hull variants: one carrier and a gunship. Not sure yet if the carrier will also be released, depends if there's any interest for it from the community. Each kit includes a hull and two turrets. These destroyers are about 3.7cm long, 1.6cm wide, and 1.8cm tall:

The fighters sprue has also already been shipped off. Moredakka already knows, but thought it handy to share it here as well:

Each fighter is about 9.2mm long, 6.6mm wide, and 2.8mm tall. Keep in mind that the heights vary due to the different sizes of the stems. :)

I kinda figured! But this is where the whole problematic thing of 'time' comes in. I've still got tons of models to finish and get started on. So whilst I would love to do a 6mm version of this craft, at the moment it's not that high on my priorities list. :(

I have started doing some thinking work on a light cruiser sized craft for the Novan Elites to match the Destroyer and Frigate. It'll be quite a beefy ship, containing various weapon systems (rather modular). :)

MoreDakka requested more ordnance, so I started working on some torpedo sprues. First up the 'standard torpedo', which of the two do you prefer?
