Awesome! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

In the meantime, I've continued working on the Siege Tanks. The hull will need a bit more detailing, the anti-bunker cannon (demolition cannon) will have to be made, and I'll need to design a dozer blade of a kind. Then the kit is ready to be shipped off.

However, I do like to see the hull being used for different types of vehicles as well. Started working on a very early version of a missile artillery variants. It will use the same hull as the Siege Tank, but the front weapon will basically mount that includes a heavy machine gun or a heavy flamethrower. On its back there will be a missile launching system. Probably two variants, one firing 4 to 6 missiles (something akin to this), the other one will carry a single large missile.

Note that the launcher that you see in the picture will not be the one used for this model. It's simply a mock-up to give you an idea what the model will sort of look like.

Started working on another 'upgrade sprue' which could be used on top of the Novan IVR hull. I guess it would be a 'weapons of the faith' pack or something. Allowing you to field the power of exorcism (missile launcher, which will be heavily modified) and immolation (either with standard flamers, heavy machine guns, or sub atomic heat weapons). I'll still need to make a component for the hull weapon, which will either be an armoured piece - similar to that of the medical transport - or one that allows for a small twin linked rifle weapon, probably both components.

I'm kinda digging the idea that the IVR and Siege Tank are basically 'standard hulls' on which all sorts of different types of weapon systems could be mounted upon! :spin

Dude you are a machine continually cranking out new designs you seem to be on a roll. :)

Haha, thanks! For me it kinda feels like working with Lego, once you've got the building blocks, you can go in all directions. I've got the basic hull ready, and a few turrets. From there I can try to come up with all sorts of variants. I'm also scouring the official and semi-official background material (rulebooks, WD's, novels, RPG books, etc) to find more vehicles and variants so I could perhaps make bits for them.

The 'Weapons of Faith' sprue kinda came up as a result of that idea, namely that the IVR would be a very common vehicle amongst different branches of Novan society/military.

In the meantime I continued working on the rocket launcher variant for the Siege Tank hull:

And to give you an idea of the components:

Also, keep in mind that the rocket launcher bit will be very different. Two variants: one with 4-6 missiles and another one with a single big one.

Crazy idea. Model in little 3mm holes just big enough for magnets.
/Crazy idea.

The magnets might work, but the teeny tiny pin underneath the turrets or the fact that the components are 'separated' by a 0.1mm gap would mean that they'd fit in just fine without a need to glue or magnetize them. Not sure what impact the paint would have on it though...

Ok, so I think the 'oddities sprue' should be ready now that I've finished this turret. Let me know your thoughts!

Continued working on the 'Weapons of Faith' sprue. I think I will separate them into a kit for exorcism (missile launchers) and one of immolation (APC's with various weapons).

I refrained from using any explicit iconography, instead going for a shield, the one on top of the turrets is 3.3mm x 4.2mm. Might be enough space for a very tiny icon?

As for those who don't have access to Moredakka's email:

From left to right: Front hull iconography plate, twin linked HMG, twin linked flamethrowers, twin linked subatomic heat weapons. Basically your three different types of Immolation tanks for the religious sisterhood. But could probably also be used for more inquisitorial themed armies.

From left to right: left missile pod, right missile pod, missile launcher turret, heavy laser cannon, light battle cannon, quad autocannons, medical transport front hull icon. I decided to ditch the roof part of the medical transport for multiple reasons: (a) it was too thin to cast at this time (b) doing it true justice would mean re-designing a hull a bit (c) economic reasons. Note that the medical transport is most likely an objective, so going all crazy on it regarding design work and printing/casting simply isn't worth the money.

Remember this little fellow from my spaceships thread?

Started working on a 6mm scaled one. First up, upscaling the existing model:

The aircraft's wingspan is 40mm, with its fuselage being 50mm long (55mm if you count the back thrusters). So slightly different proportions than its source of inspiration, but then again...it is a different design nonetheless...

Thank you for the kind words. I've been doing a bit of pondering on the details. I'll be trying to take some influenced from other existing fighters as well. One (and probably the only) thing I like about the new Stormhawk model is the cockpit. Only in the case of my fighter this design would be placed on the back (like my model). It would probably open by moving forwards rather than flipping up.

In the meantime, a tiny distraction:
