I like the fighter, the only thing I don't like is the nose.

A blunted nose cone, or something similar to a battle star galactic viper nose.

Man that looks pretty slick man! Some damn good ordinance. Make a 6mm scale one now go to town on the detail and you got yourself a sweet fighter as well.

Actually Blind's right that would make a cool elites fighter.

That's the plan basically, so first upscale this model and then start detailing the [expletive] out of it. :)

I would remove the fin from the bottom though.

The fighter is almost done, a tiny tweak here and there perhaps. I'd love to do a bomber in that same style, but perhaps I should wait a bit until that 28mm scale elites faction will get a bomber (need something to draw inspiration from)...

So what i'm thinking is those barrels look to big to look right when you biggerize it, unless!!!.... it was a rotary quad cannon :) Like exactly what you did with one of the barrels for your assault gun variant.

Of course they are too big if you upscale the model, but keep in mind that the proportions tend to get warped slightly when designing at such scales, which is why you have to resize stuff when changing scales. :)

Been doing some work on the frigates. They are as good as done, maybe a bit of tweaking on the bridge, but beyond that the craft are ready. Next up would be to do some work on the Destroyers (maybe make them modular too), followed by some transport ships.

I'd also like to redo the boarding pods a bit. Speaking of ordnance, I'm not sure if the heavy assault craft need to be enlarged somewhat, the fighter seems rather big compared to it at the moment.

And another thing: I've just ordered some test-prints of one frigate and some ordnance. Kinda to get the feel of the models, and to see whether Shapeways' new material is any good...
