Right chaps this is the finished render the model will now be sprued up ready for the printing process.

Three head and four weapon options will be included in the kit.

Looks great !

Don't want to be a PITA, but does anyone else think the head is a little too big?

Might just be the perspective in the first image. May look fine from other angles.

The head seems fine to me, but what bothers me somewhat is the way the multi-gatling cannon arm seems mounted at the middle of the gun. To me, I'd rather have the mount nearer the rear with the weapon projected forward from that.

Still, it's a nice lookin' stompy thing.

Also, a bit late to mention, but I do rather love the battle tank shown previously. And, as Kyuss also said, a lack of complete (or mostly so) armour options has kept me from doing a SM-like force with Vanguard/Novans. Top work, chappy!

Yes it was me! Thanks for putting them back up, and also adding my Novan Desert Guys - you can put them all under 'benmoor' if you want, rather than under my full name. Just finished my Dreadnought Stalker, I'll have to get it photographed this weekend and posted up.

Cheers!

@ Doomkitten, understand your point about the weapon mounting but that's how the gun was designed for the other models in this line so it's not specific to this piece really.

The tank is a go and will be next up I think alongside the other new heads. Looking into the possibility of the sponsons being seperate pieces so that one hull can be used which saves a lot of time and expense ans should mean I can get more weapon options done fairly quick.

I think the width of the head makes it look bigger than it is.

Anyway thanks for all the feedback people, more images of the tank next week I expect after a few tweaks.

Cheers

Most likely I expect at least a month at the casters, II have no idea how long it takes to get stuff back from printing.

Total guestimate early may.

I think that's probably the clearest image I've seen of that particular weapon, plus it's mounted in a very 'exposed' manner (not a bad thing, just shows up so much more). It's a peculiarity and irks my senses a little, but I don't mean to imply that it looks objectively bad.

On the armoured vehicles point - how hard would it be for a 'conversion' pack of spikes, chains, more spikes, some spikes with helmets on and dozerblades/spiky rams (with spikes) to fit the various vehicles based on Trojan style hulls? A single pack of upgrade parts to apply to the default hulls (and other models) would be just aces for decking out an army of Naughty Novan Elitess.

Your points are duly noted but this model is now locked so no more alterations will be made. The final design has cost me twice what the original quote was due to the continuous head changes and the new feet design. Not complaining about that as many changes where instigated by myself but everytime I get something changed it costs money.

Unlike Don of Onslaught or Ben when he did his DiD funders I don't actually create the computer model. These guys do the modelling which only costs them time so they can make as many tweaks as the customers require. Me I have to pay for every change.

A corrupted upgrade set for the vehicle is a great idea i'll consult the man on if such a set is viable the other option of course would be to have purpose designed naughty novan elites. ;)

Regards

Yeah, I figured it would be something that would only irk me. I think it's actually a peculiarity of a few weapons with a similar design to that one so it's probably just me being awkward. I didn't intend for this to sound like a "fix this terrible thing now!" urgent demand, just a personal preference comment. Not every complaint gets a fix, and sometimes I'm actually pretty good at being told no. ;)
