WoW!
Great stuff! The crisp details and fantastic scenery (and great pics to shows them off) make these as good as any to be in WD....in the days when Epic was in WD that is!
Congrats

There is a possibility they would just chuck all the epic minis in the scrap pile to be melted down, but I would think after the amount of sales and inquiries they have received they would realize they could sell the stuff for a lot more than its scrap value.
Besides, GWUS has a history of running molds when requested until they blow out. It wouldn't seem in-character for them to scrap stuff willy-nilly.

That would be rather uncharacteristic! I've never heard of them melting down minis, especially seeing how extensive their US archives are. ?I purchased some plastic and metal epic kits from the over the summer, and everything was crisp and like new.
although.... ?there's a lot of uncharacteristic stuff going on at GW these days. ?Andy Chambers just left GW. ?GW Asia was just dissolved. ?Bits no longer sold by weight at events. Rumors of the outrider program stopping. ?Pigs flying....

Let's hope G/W US comes to it's senses ... but we'll have to wait and see ...

With all the good sales figures for Epic in the UK so far, maybe sales will be sooooooo good that they'll import all the US archive to the UK to sell as collector's models.
I did once find a feather in my bacon, so it might happen!

>> I've never heard of them melting down minis,
It's happened before. There was a big accident at the warehouse a few years back. IIRC, someone backed a forklift into a piece of shelving and it started a domino effect a la bad comedy, dumping hundreds of bins into the floor. The way I heard it, the cleanup ended with people shoveling up piles of random bits to be melted down.
Not that the situations are really comparable...
