Thanks for the report! Much easier to follow the game with the overview shots.
I also liked the comments and plans between the turns. :)

You seems to have a massive load of bad luck. Both with activating and in some engagements. (The Avatar for example :) )

Thoughts:
Why didn't you attack the Vultures? My first target would have been them and it looks like they are out of the AA bubble or close to it... You targeted the already activated artillery in turn one instead?
In my games they rarely survive turn 1 as they hit hard, so my opponent fear them and die "easy"
It also puzzles my why you didn't use the SC reroll on the vampire in turn 2 or 3 and why you didn't go for the "unprotected" blitz in the end. (Going after a full Russ company in the last turn is doomed to fail :) )

I also noticed that you used the SC reroll in turn 1 before the Wraithlord had entered the board and that the broken Waveserpent survived loosing an engagement even though not being fearless but that is minor things ;)

I know it was not your choice but it is kind of stange that the inf co didn't move up some of its units in base to base with the Wraithguards when they assaulted. That way they would have had taken away their extra MW attack...

Thanks for the report, the updated format is certainly a great improvement - Does it take much longer to set up?

Yes, bad luck and then some - shows the list is still resilient though if you can miss off a sixth of your list...

Much better format. The end of turn shots make things clearer.

One thing that might be handy would be to have arrows from where the unit was to where they have move to. But excellent otherwise.

Exceptionally good AAR Greg. Your best so far. How long does it take you to do it?. 6 hours, not counting the 3 hours gaming and photographing? It's good to see the others appreciate your hard work and effort.

My understanding is that the SC reroll can only be used for formation on board (If the SC is on the board) and not off board formations, i.e aircraft. If the SC is in a formation off board, then it may use the SC reroll, but only that formation with the SC and no others. Now I pretty sure too, if the SC is a transport AC and it fails it activation it can’t use the SC reroll since it's the aircraft that you are activating and not the formation inside. I’m sure it’s in the FAQ.
Hmm, have to look that up. I'm pretty sure you can use the SC reroll on any activation or rally as long as he/she is on the board (We also let people use the reroll for formations that the commander is a part of, so if he is inside a Vampire and the Vampire does a ground assault with the units inside they are allowed to take the reroll. Not really sure that is in the rules though...)

If the Russes was guarding the Blitz the attack is much more understandable, even though I would have tried to move up so the attack came from the right side, by doing so a couple of kills might have made them get beond 15 cm :)

Yes we allow the SC re-roll as well if mounted in an aircraft. The only time you can't use it is if he is off table and not activating that formation.

I agree with the others that the general format of the report is much better. Please keep it up if this is not too much difficulty.

As to the SC re-roll, it may be used for the off-table transport that is carrying it - the Autarch can be visualised as entering the cockpit to have a none too gentle word with the pilot . . . ;)
