Well who really knows ? But I still think Infantrymen, unless all have jump packs or can teleport, etc. ... You have to move faster than walking to be effective in mobile, maneuver warfare. So some sort of transport will still be needed. In Hammer's Slammers, his Infantrymen generally ride one man skimmers. Kind of like Dragoons or Light Horse/Mounted Infantry. So again based on my past, I may be wedded to some concepts that eventually might become obsolete. Who would have thought Battleships would be obsolete ?
Regardless we'll be dead ... so it really won't matter ...
