Hi!

That's what I love about Ulric, like me he plays epic games at the proper size. ;)

Lots of terrain and huge armies, looks great! How long did it take to play?

Hi boys,
glad you like it.
I started on Thursday at 9 pm and finsihed on Saturday 11 PM
did nothing more than to play Epic(ate a little bit thats all)

that`s what it is for isnt`t it? ;D

In this game I tried to adapt some rules I never or rarely used bevore.

-Snap fire(for all units)
I used it most of the time for Inf. trying to get into cover, but most of the time it´s better to wait until FF

-bail out rolls for everything inside collapsing buildings/bunkers
nice, very good and more realistic

-a rule I most of the time missunderstood and after understanding it I ignored it ;D
Template weapons harms the building AND it`s residents....we never played it that way bur I really liked it....even more realistic

-SH damage tables
honestly I was too lazy to use it bevore, but it gives the SHvehicles more character
good and easy to adapt

-my own houserule weapons with a TSM of zero may not harm any amoured vehicle
works well but I have to correct about AAweapons without TSM
in most other cases each weapon system found its targets

-CAF+1 and Range 25cm for SM Scouts...I WANT MY SCOUT CO. BACK :sos

Here are some questions,
do penetrating bonus aply to "flashbacks" to reactor or head?
It´s a major question.

May Flyers attack ground targets in CC and how fire on them is then worked out?
(I do this sometimes)

Sorry I can't answer your questions.

Maybe you can answer mine.

Where did you get that fantastic city wall and is it still available?

Thanks

Pat

Totally awesome work Ulric,

I've not visited the taccomms sites in a long time and it's great to see you're still doing epic on such a grand scale.

Thank you sir.

I am a step away to liquidate my collection

Well firstly, congratulations on the addition to your chain of command!

With regards to your collection, I'd advise you don't be too hastey, because once it's gone you'll probably never get it back. Our two are 7-9 yo now and I'm still finding it a challenge to get time for hobbies, but every now and then I do and it's very rewarding.

I have sold some stuff I was never going to use, or passed off some models to new players, but generally my stuff sits in boxes for the better part of the year until my holidays where I might dig some out. My son is now of an age where he is becoming interested in gaming so I now look forward to seeing him enjoy my collection in years to come.

Anyhow, good luck with it mate, it's a shame you don't live close. Whatever happens, thanks for the great reports and motivation they created.

Regards
Geoff
