Long story short, it ended 0-0 on the last (failed) activation and there were some particularly strange dice on both sides - for example the plagueship failed to come in on the first turn even with an SC re-roll and my six Chaos Spawn (3+ armour) rolled twos for Every. Single. Bleeping. Save.
Although the Plagueship missed the juicy target of the Engines of Vaul who deployed
exactly on the centre of my planned barrage by failing to activate, rolling 18 on 9+3d3 for the Plague Zombies that appeared after the barrage did help make up for it...
