Hehe, just you wait until you get it, then realise it is ridden with bugs and trashes your machine (gotta love beta testing )

Yeah...
It just came to me, that penalties for armour if detachment moves triple are sorta ridiculous. Mybe just prevent them from firing at all, like it is in EA?
Also, let's try to keep the weaponry generic (judging from your screenshot, the sarges get Boltpistol & Chainsword combo - give them Bolters, just for the sake of clarity).

Oh, just another thought:
Hotseat mode might be useful in some cases.
I hope that this test version won't scramble any files, cause it will be used in computer at my school. ?
If it does... goodbye school, goodbye net access.
BTW: How do you like my new avatar?

As for armament - that is an army list issue and thus doesn't effect the game mechanics, it is up to the players to determine which lists they use and how they configure their lists.

Sounds good - just need to do the finishing touches to the interface. Then we start on the fun stuff, eg, terrain, fog of war, special rules, suppression, morale etc.

Forgot about the counters... But just yesterday I attempted to rescale vehicle proxies to the size of those tiles of yours. 1/2 rescale is good for Rhinos, but anything bigger does not fit. When rescaled to 1/4th it loses most details and might cause a lot of trouble with recognition, but fits on the template decently.
