Great work, I like the colors chosen and the Battle wagon conversions.

Well, it's August for about 2 more hours here in the great Northwest, so I'm sliding under the blast door with my entries for the month.

First up, the finished Big Gunz:

Then six Dreads. Assorted clan colors. Made a conscious effort to brighten up my paint jobs on these and I'm pleased with the results. As shown here they are still awaiting a little touch-up work on their bases and a coat of varnish. Four of the six have had arms re-posed and new weapon barrels added.

Don't worry, I haven't forsaken rust and grime as can be seen from this "bonus" entry, my first Gargant! This was a bit daunting to paint but once I realized it wasn't going to go horribly awry, it was a tremendous amount of fun. I'm not considering this guy 100% finished as I still want to stick a Mek and 1-2 grots on the back platforms.

Still tinkering with lighting and color correction on my photos. Thanks for looking!

Wow! Stunning entry. Lots and lots of fantastic details, like the Rokkit, but my favourite one is the "crab-style" deff dread. Rust looks fantastic on your Gargant as well.

Wow! The rust is very good. I especially like the blue large part of the gargant.

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone!

I think for September I'm going to try to get my Fighta-Bommerz done.

I'm really liking your painting style, Northrax. It's both super neat and detailed but has the rustic, weathered look which works great with Orks. This army is going to look ace when there's hordes of it!
